We Love Working With Storybook Farm!

AtStone Martin Builders, our love of family extends far beyond the work we do onsite. There’s nothing we enjoy more than spending time with those in our communities, and what better way to bring people together than through the natural connection we feel to horses and the outdoors? Each year, we are so grateful to partner withStorybook Farm, one of the most incredible nonprofits we’ve had the privilege of coming across.   Geared toward children who face certain challenges in life, from physical and emotional to social and cognitive, Storybook Farm’s mission is to help those in need embrace and enjoy life through simple and beautiful ways (with the help of a few furry friends)! Together, we broke ground on thePapa Bear Horse Center, a brand new facility at this “magical nonprofit ministry” that we hope will bring happiness and healing to the lives of many.    By allowing children to ride and develop camaraderie with horses, Storybook Farm provides “hope on horseback” in every sense. In this safe, non-judgemental space, children experience the essential things in life that so many people take for granted, including friendship, the beauty and joy of nature, and sharing our unique stories with others. At Stone Martin Builders, our team was so proud to offer our services to a group of leaders who care so much about the wellbeing of children everywhere. If someone’s future is uncertain, that doesn’t mean their present can’t be fulfilling. Through programs like Secret Garden, Hope on Horseback, and Furry Friends, Storybook Farm truly goes above and beyond for families in Alabama.
