Purchasing Agent's Build Adventure- November 17th

Nov 17, 2020

Update 2:

Got a taste of some of Opelika’s finest inspectors this week. Electricians decided not to fix anything on the first go around of basecamp items and phone calls. 2nd time, they fixed the smoke alarms they missed but still decided not to fix the other issues. Failed my first 2 electrical rough inspections, so third time has to be a charm, right? (Back charges about to be handed out like Halloween candy if 3rd doesn’t pass)

Did some walks with Sensigreen and the inspector who does HVAC inspections, which was some great insight into the manual J’s and how it all correlates during the build. Found we have some Sensigreen manual J’s that are outdated and the office will coordinate with Justin Quinn and his team on getting those updated quickly.

Also like everyone else have no windows, and the subs decided to cut the house wrap out that covered my openings as well…. Other than that, just another day in paradise. After my striking photos of our bootleg leaf blower came out, I have realized that might be something that could speed up cleaning after a frame is done. Will be looking into some bulk deals for purchase during black Friday to see if we can help the field staff out!
